Let's Tablescape a LITTLE!

I've been a follower of Susan's http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ for quite some time. She has some wonderful ideas and inspirations. She has Metamorphosis Monday and Tablescape Thursday. I've participated on both and that is what inspired this posting. I belong to several Internet Swap Groups for miniatures and Swap Shop, hosted by Fern Rouleau, is one of the best. It is a creative group of people. Fern was looking for swap ideas and I suggested we do a 'dinner for two' tablescape. This is a lot more involved than most of our swaps. All swaps are limited to 10 people and when I suggested it, I was very doubtful that we would have our ten. I gave them the above link to get them in the mood and as you can see, they all interpreted the theme differently and very cleverly. We got the ten participants with outstanding results. Thanks to Anamari Alonso, Audrey Meehan, Barb Kenyeres, Barb Myers, Betty Caldwell, Emma Muqsit, Fern Rouleau, LaGail Jackson and Wendy Cole for their outstanding efforts.

To give credit where credit is due. Babette of http://maidenamerica-babette.blogspot.com/ let me know about Susan's site and also mentioned that they would be fun in miniatures (she is a very creative miniaturist).

The rooster setting is mine. I'm going through a Rooster phase just now.

Oh, oh, oh. I almost didn't click on your link. I love this so! I have always been fascinated by miniatures. There used to be a shop nearby, but it is gone now. I will have to visit you from time-to-time and see what's up in the World of Little People.
Happy New Year and thank you for sharing all the tables.

Three cheers for miniatures!

I too post miniature table settings. And even though it is a shorter distance to carry plates etc to the table, people have no idea how much work goes into it, do they!

A very happy 2011 to you and your family!

Thanks for stopping by my post - I'm #42, Randee, from all the pretty dishes. I couldn't believe it when I saw your miniatures because I also collect miniatures! My husband built me a wonderful dollhouse 32 years ago and I've been collecting ever since. I'm just about finished, but of course I can always add a little something extra!
Happy New Year!

Thanks to all who posted. This was such a fun posting. I am also amazed at all the people who either do or have done miniatures. It is nice to live in a small world.

Come back and visit often.

This makes me want to go open all the boxes holding the furniture and other goodies from my daughter's doll house. I've been holding on to it for years...so far I have two grandsons...still hoping for that granddaughter some day. Everyone did a great job! Thank you for sharing all the charming designs. Happy New Year! Cherry Kay

This is soooo cute! I love this! One of these days I'm going to renovate my doll house (it needs it badly) and it will need a darling tablescape like these. :)
