Tablescape Thursday - Audubon House - Key West

I moved to Key West, Florida in 1994. I started vacationing in Key West in 1987. Loved it the first time I saw it and still love it. Another Tablescape Thursday made me think of one of the nicest tablescapes in town. . Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch (http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/) for hosting the event.
When we host out of town visitors, one of my fun past times is to play tourist and visit, or revisit, some of the lovely places in town. Recently I toured the Audubon House and gardens. This is the original home of Captain Geiger. It was built in 1846. James Audubon painted 18 of his birds at this location. On my recent visit, I really concentrated on the dining room after participating in several tablescape Thursdays. I don't know the pattern of the china, but I certainly love it. If you know the pattern, please let me know. If you get to Key West, be sure to stop by and see it in person.

I love the blue and white dishes. They are so elegant. AND, I love Key West. My husband and I visit at least 2-4 times a year. Hopefully, in the next few years, after we get our son graduated, we will be heading down to set up life in the Conch Republic!!

Beautiful china pattern and lovely pictures and I know where the audubon house is cause I used to live in KeyWest. Years ago tho.
Don't know if you are familiar with Shorty's Diner, no longer there,( I did hear the sign was still up) but my grandparents and dad owned it. They were in business down there for over 40 yrs.
Lovely pics thanks for sharing them.
Blessings, Nellie
