Tablescape Thursday - Still loving the black & white

Another Tablescape Thursday. Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch (http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/) for hosting the event. As you saw last Thursday, I love checks and black and white. Today you will see some of my oldest possessions. Still favorites.

Of course, still Kisses in the house. Amazing since I've been into them constantly.

The large goblet and the small goblet are Fostoria's Trousseau. It was my pattern when I married (nearly 43 years ago). Loved it then, still love it. The middle goblet is a yard sale find. 4 new goblets for $5.00 Bargain!!!

The White with platnium rim were also my wedding dishes. They were cheap then. I bought 2 services for 8. Even after a few calamities, I can still serve 14 with full place settings if I decide to do it. It's been so many years, I can't remember the cost; but frugal was my middle name, even then.

Love the white dishes on the checked table cloth. Also just enough red to give it a kick.

Flowers arrived just after I set my table. A gift from a friend. Lovely ornament container.

Love the black and white, especially with the red accents. So pretty.

The color combination is awesome! The red just pops off the table. I too have a soft spot for hershey kisses! Merry Christmas!

Very pretty. Love the centerpiece-the red really pops against the black and white. Your yard sale goblet looks great with your other goblets.
