Funky owls
When I finished the 50 pears I realized I had 7 days before my next online class. Whatever will I do? How about 7 funky owls in 7 days. Size 6x6 inches. I think they are cute.

Pears, pears and more pears !!!
About 15 or 16 years ago I followed an art assemblage group on yahoo. I came across an exhibition of 50 pieces of art in 50 days. I was enraptured by the thought. Pieces were small about 6x6 if my memory serves me well. There were assemblage pieces along with portraits and landscapes.
I tried it with watermelons and got to 8 pieces and then thought “to hell with it “.
Well, I’ve completed 52 pears. 2 were done in 2016. The other 50 were done in the last few weeks. Size is 3 1/2 x 5 inches. I don’t know if I will frame theme but if I do, it’s a staple size at dollar tree. Enjoy!!!
Trash picking success —finally!
Several years ago I acquired ( trash picking) a camera tripod that was in great shape and I wanted to make it into a floor lamp. After knowing I didn’t have the tools (and the skills) to do it, I was at the point of giving it to a friend who has yard sales. Had a friend who wanted to go to the art studios on Stock Island and we went into Damon Designs. He had a tripod floor lamp on display. To make a long story short, I asked him if he could wire my camera tripod and he did. HE DID!!!! I’m so glad I hadn’t gotten rid of it.
