National Dollhouse Miniature Month - Day 8

Today is dedicated to my little furry friends. I have 3 dogs (2 corgies (Lindy & Lacy) and 1 Jack Russell (Benny)). The Jack Russell is my son's dog and my son is in the army and unable to care for Benny. He is a great dog as are the Corgies. However, my littled Corgie, Lacy, fell in our canal in Florida this morning and scared me senseless. She bobbed up and I was screaming to her and she swam right over and I lifted her out with her harness. She is a bit of a klutz and it isn't the first time she has fallen in the water. We have a floating 'doggy doc' to give her a fighting chance to get out of the water, but just as soon she never needed it. Fortunately I was outside and we really don't leave them in the yard without some oversight, but still scared me. I am listing pics of the real dogs and some of my favorite minis of them.

Bottom Picture is Lacy,
2 Dogs on Chair (keeping watch on the street) are Lindy in blue harness & Lacy
Benny ready for Halloween last year
My favorite doggie minis.

The mini Corgi is the only Corgi I've been able to find. If you know of another source, please lease a comment.

National Dollhouse Miniature Month - Day 7

Continuing with some of my favorites. I got this Little Debbie set of 3 dolls (1 inch scale) with the intention of using them in scenes. They are so cute I just decided to keep them as a set. I have collection 3 and it was out in 1998. I don't have the 1993 or 96 set, but might start looking for them again.

National Dollhouse Miniature Month - Day 6

Another one of my favorites is from Betty Perry of Leavenworth Ks. I've had it for years and can't remember just when I acquired it, but its been a favorite ever since. Be sure to note the dime for proper scale.

National Miniature Dollhouse Month - Day 5

I just love this little teapot. It is in 1/4 inch scale. Hard to get a good picture of the interior. Be sure to note the dime in one picture to give you more of an accurate scale.

National Miniature Dollhouse Month Day 4

Thought in honor of this month, I would share with you some of my favorite minis. I've had this little girl about 15 years. She was done by a very dear fellow miniaturist - Betty Perry from Leavenworth Ks. It was a Christmas gift and has been a treasure ever since. It is from polymer clay.

National Miniature Dollhouse Month Day 3

I hope I can do this every day this month. Of course, I started a day late - but better late than never. Here are some mini pull toys that I assembled. Found them on etsy. I absolutely love them all.

National Dollhouse Miniatures Month

What a great month. I just returned from the Region 2 N doll show in San Francisco. Got some great dolls - especially some mini dolls. The 2 larger dolls (only about 3 inches) are Cathy Hansen dolls and the little baby on pillow is from Maree Massey. Celebrating Minis.
