Raggedy Ann Turns 100 - Mini Raggedies

Well, as you might have guessed, I'm rather obsessed with Raggedies and also with miniatures and I found an email address in a Miniature Collector magazine and decided I needed these little dolls for my collection. Swap Shop - Birthday Swap

As most of you have gathered by now, I love miniatures. I participate in several (read many) miniature groups online. One does an annual birthday swap and this is the 2nd year that I have participated. You list your wants and mine were anything for shops (antique, ladies, fabric, etc. ) in either 1/4 scale or 1 inch scale or anything raggedy ann. Today is my birthday and I opened my box of goodies. Toy Shop

Toys, toys, toys. I love toys and have made and collected lots of them in years and years of swapping. Thought this little background, from one of those printed gift bags, inside a plastic paint can would make a great background. Had an extra plant stand from my last year's trip to the St. Louis Miniature show and thought it would make a great stand for toys. Intend to top off the can with a big red bow and a gift card on the side that says "Santa, I can explain...". Mostly done, thought I would share.

Antique Shop

I got my antique shop. As many of you know, I have been preparing for the Mini Show Exhibit at the Florida Keys Community College Library; so I wanted to finish this newest mini scene for that show. It is nice to get some of these items out of boxes and on display.

Sweet Shop

Finally got my sweet shop finished. Over the years, I have participated in a lot of swaps related to sweets and I have filled this little shop to the brim. The pretty little customer could resist all the pies and cakes for an all day lollipop. I don't think I could have done so well. The wallpaper is my own design. I did a collage of lots and lots of signs and pictures. Enjoy.
