Last day of National Dollhouse Miniature Month-Raggedy of course

Thought I’d end the month with a couple of my favorites.   Raggedy Ann and Andy were mounted with a quarter scale Empty display box.  The boxes are both wired with light.

Santa is 1/12 scale.  The sleigh is a Christmas ornament.

How do you find all the stuff to furnish a mini scene???

Of course you can buy all the stuff you need to furnish a mini house but as you have probably figured out — I have a lot of miniature houses.  I found a better way.  There are many swaps groups that you can join in many scales.  Themes vary from group to group.   You make a number of items; send to swap master and you get that number back.

You know I love antique shops and holiday stuff BUT I really REALLY love anything Raggedy Ann or Andy. 

Here’s my little Raggedy decorating store

Raggedy Ann is a little over 103 years old.  Still young to me.

It’s pretty obvious that I love Christmas scenes.  This little scene is quarter scale and made in a dollar store gift box

This little scene always has a light in it.  Makes it easier to see everything in the room.

This little quarter scale scene was inspired by a frame I won on an auction.   I actually lost the bid but it turned out to be one of two frames and I got it!!!!  Seemed like a WIN!!!

I know it’s not Halloween yet buy I’m looking forward to Christmas!!!!

Sometimes you can have a few items that set the mood.  This scene captures that. 1/12 scale.

This miniature scene was inspired by a Christmas card.  I carried it around for years and years and finally acquired a cigar box the same size as the card.  This is 1/12. 

Loved the card —really love the mini scene.

This little kitchen scene was made in a cigarbox.   It was made around the shrimp.  They were as near perfect as I’ve seen.

Makes me hungry just looking at it.  

Lots going on in this little section of the kitchen.  Dinner will be ready soon.  Scale is 1/12.
