I love pedlar dolls. I think they are fascinating. I only have 3, but I treasure them. I also have quite a stash of unused miniature items. I love them, but just haven't found the proper place for them. The cart has been around about 18 years, and just hasn't quite decided what it wanted to be. I thought of a pastry cart or lunch cart but wasn't thrilled with either idea; and this weekend, I decide my cart and my loved mini items could become a pedlar cart. Gives me an opportunity to use pieces I love and more of my items have found a home. Now I have 4 pedlar dolls.

Oh to be in England
I love England and have been their twice. I have participated in a couple swap. I put these little scenes together (the tea table didn't fit in the box) showing off things I think about when I think of England. The Queen, of course, with her regal robe; tea, silver, jam, the Beatles. The little table is all ready for tea. Enjoy

Roosters
Recently I was surfing the web and found reference to "Rooster Day" or something like that. Well, I can't find the site any more, but I did take pictures of my two favorite roosters. I painted both of them. If anyone viewing this post knows of the site that had a Rooster Day recently, please let me know.

Little ole furniture maker
I have been going to quarter inch scale and having a hard time finding furniture that I really liked. After seeing some similar to this, I tried my hand at making my own. Covering is felt on the light blue and red in the background. The others are stiffened cotton. The cotton ones use bunka for trim. They are sitting on a 12x12 book of scrap booking paper.
